My freshman year was absolutely horrible. I got sick and wasn't able to go to school during the second semester, and out of seven my teacher two of them were considerate of the situation. The other five teachers send me loads of work and didn't even put them in the grade book, they put every piece of work I did in as missing which is equivalent to a zero. My sophomore year was pretty decent, I only had a problem with one teacher. She was a horrible teacher and she would never let me use the restroom when I asked to go.

My experience was not bad but it also was not amazing. They do not focus enough into academics, there is not enough opportunities for honors student who want excel. They only offer a few AP and dual enrollment classes and no IB classes. Most of the teachers really care and want you to excel. However many aren't qualified in my opinion to teacher some of the classes they teach. Overall it was a good experience.

A good high school experience typically involves a positive and supportive learning environment, opportunities for extracurricular activities and socializing with peers, dedicated and engaging teachers, and a variety of challenging and interesting classes. It can also be helpful to have access to resources such as counseling services, academic support, and college preparation programs.

As a former student and current college student, I would have to say JCHS gave me a pretty good educational foundation. I felt I was very prepared in Math and History/Econ. On the other hand I was very far behind the curve in Literature and Science, compared to my peers. But High School is not all a...

I have two children at Jones County. On paper this school looks impressive but the reality is that there is not much learning going on here. My children have learned that they can do nothing for seven weeks and then get caught up just before the grading period ends. I have seen their grades jump fro...
