I had a very mixed experience with Jones County High School. A lot of my teachers were helpful but I feel like certain aspects could have been better.

Jones County High School offers many dual enrollment programs for the students. These programs have helped many students achieve their goals. So much so that many of the students not only come out with college credits but also readiness in the field they want to go into after high school. They also have the chances to talk employers who are willing to hire them while still in high school.

I have gone there my entire high school career. Certain things the school does not know how to handle appropriately; however, the student organizations and extracurricular activities excel.

As a former student and current college student, I would have to say JCHS gave me a pretty good educational foundation. I felt I was very prepared in Math and History/Econ. I have two children at Jones County. On paper this school looks impressive but the reality is that there is not much learning going on here. My children have learned that they can do nothing for seven weeks and then get caught up just before the grading period ends. I have seen their grades jump fro...
