I've had trouble with bullies in the past regarding my sexuality and gender. Being female in Grayson county high school is a nightmare if you're being harassed. A lot of the principles are men who say "boys will be boys" and send you on your way. I wish that attitude would change. Other wise I've had a great school experience, the teachers are hardworking and committed to good education and care for their students, which is refreshing.

The staff at Grayson County High School is always looking out for the students' best interests. They always ensure that when the first bell rings for the day that the students will be as safe as possible. The only thing that I would change would be that every classroom and CATE center shop would get the latest and updated equipment.

Grayson County High School is a school that any mother or father would feel comfortable sending their children. It has a safe environment and teachers connect well with all students. There is a "no tolerance" policy in place for bullying . I find this a very important factor in today's society. Because it is a smaller school, the teachers get to know all their students. They often even help the students struggling after or before school hours. The only sad thing about GCHS is their lack of funding to grow.
