JHR is a rewarding school with more classes and extracurriculars than any other school in Pitt County. JHR offers a diverse amount of APs, around 25 annually depending on capacity. Other courses offered are also mixed and manifold. In terms of extracurriculars, JHR provides a huge amount of clubs, student-led clubs, music programs, and athletic programs to participate in. It is a great school with rigor, diversity, and excellence.

Lots of college prep classes for those wishing to attend 4 year school. Dual enrollment at the community College. Tradesformers for those wishing to learn a trade such as HVAC or Electrician. Overall my student has had an excellent experience.

Rose is a very challenging school that has way more AP courses than any other high school in Pitt County. The school also is one of 30 something schools public or private in all of North Carolina tha...

He came home just last night sharing excitement about his business teacher offering to help my student shape his entrepreneurial ideas. He and his teacher plan to meet re...

Rose High School has an excellent Honors/AP program. It was a exceptional high school experience for my two kids. One now has an M.D. and the other a Masters.
