Greenwood Hills Elementary School is a Richardson Independent School District public school. The neighborhood school serves students in prekindergarten through sixth grade. The campus is located off West Shore Drive in northwest Richardson.
Greenwood Hills Elementary has a bilingual program for kindergarten through third grade students. Language support programs are also for English Language Learners in kindergarten through sixth grade. Two gifted programs, QUEST and REACH, are also available for students who qualify.
All students at Greenwood Hills Elementary take a weekly art class. Music and physical education classes are taken twice weekly. Students at Greenwood Hills Elementary also participate in weekly Enrichment Clusters. These groups are self-selected by the students and allow creative learning opportunities to take place.
The Greenwood Hills mascot is the Eagles, and the school colors are green and white. Following the completion of elementary school, students will attend one of the junior high schools in the Pearce Learning Community feeder pattern.

I had to call the police on the man gym teacher. He couldn't keep his hands to himself..The principal was no help at all. So think twice before enrollment at this school

You cannot get the principal or vice principal to answer your phone calls. Had an incident where my child was punched in the face and I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. I kept getting ignored and the principal never spoke to me. A different incident and I called to speak to the vice principal and same...

We have two kids at Greenwood Hills and have nothing but praise. Both kids are thriving. We've had a number of teachers that are just exceptional. We've always felt well-supported. Even during this pandemic, online learning was well-organized and is going well. It's a wonderful school!

Fantastic School. Our children thrived in the caring and academically challenging environment. A truly great neighborhood school that funnels into North and JJ Pearce.
