My high school experience was mostly positive, with the best part being my involvement in the band. I loved playing at various events, which allowed me to express my passion for music. While I cannot think of many negative aspects, I would like to see improvements in the food choices at school, as more variety and better options would enhance the overall experience.

Having gone here since my freshman year and I'm now a senior I can say my experience with griffin high has been bittersweet. Coming in as a freshman I think their aren't enough clubs or ways to get involved, through my sophomore and junior years the school had a problem with fights , it got so bad where we needed to have metal detectors at doors to keep students safe . In my senior year the school has gotten better with gang violence and fights and I can tell the staff here is working on getting the school to be a place where students feel safe and enjoy learning

This is a great school with a lot of opportunities for students to get involved. The staff is diverse with teachers from all over the globe as well as teachers who went to GHS. The leadership in the school tries to make a difference.

The administration team are involved with being "agents of change" and the encourage the faculty and staff, and the students to become...
