The school's design was not conducive to student success. The academic standards were so low that merely passing classes was considered a remarkable achievement.

My experience at Spalding High School has been an overall winding experience due to the fact that teachers are for the most part Great teachers, the student body isn't great, but they get the job done as reasonably as possible.

SHS does not take pride in anything. Disrespectful students, limited discipline, and poor staff. The school also has very little concern for athletics and band. It is sad when you go to a game and are able to count out the number of people there on your fingers.

Administration is disengaged. Discipline in limited. Low graduation rates. Am considering moving out of area for younger children.
