Honoring a tradition that dates back to 1887, the St. Paul Catholic School is located in Grosse Pointe Farms and educates preschool through eighth grade students with a religious-based curriculum. Emphasizing spiritual devotion, the St. Paul Catholic School is dedicated to nurturing faith in the "minds, hearts, and souls" of its students.
Honored as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education in 2006, the St. Paul Catholic School is committed to academic excellence and the welfare of its students.
During students' elementary years, smaller class sizes are offered and the curriculum focuses on Religion, Social Studies, Math, Science, Language Arts, Music, Art, Physical Education, Technology and Spanish. Students may supplement their core classes with extracurricular options in gymnastics, chess, forensics, band, musical theatre, and athletics beginning in third grade.
Middle schoolers concentrate on advanced versions of earlier subjects, increasing elective opportunities with newspaper, yearbook, science Olympiad, robotics and the Junior High Ministry program, FOG or "Following Our God."
The St. Paul Catholic School Lakers fly their red and white colors proudly competing in soccer, volleyball, tennis, cross country, basketball, bowling, lacrosse, track and cheerleading.
