GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love the academic excellence this school strives for and it has helped me grow throughout the year with me now being in my senior year at this school. I feel like even with sports and music and arts lacking, the resources you get along with the amazing teachers still gives you a great high school experience, preparing your for rigorous college classes. This can be attributed to the high school being pretty small, so you get to be one on one with teachers helping you out with work. In the future there's going to be a designated P.E. class and more music and art classes, which I'm sure will be fun. All and all MSMHS is a great school for anyone who wants to study all sorts of subjects, not just oceanography and other subjects of that nature.

I have enjoyed my time as a student here, I wish I got the full experience, but due to COVID-19, I spent half my sophomore year at home and half my junior year online. I love my teachers and I love the community.

It's a very good school from a sophomore's point of view, the school doesn't offer any electives so it does suffer in the music and art department. Aside from that, it on par, if not better, than some other highschools.
