By far the best four years of my life. Coursework is extremely rigorous and challenging, but the teachers and fellow students are there to support you. I have learned so much here aside from academics - how to grow as a person, make independent decisions, be a leader, and contrbute to my community. Coudn't ask for more in a school than this.

Groton is a wonderful school and unrivaled with regards to its welcoming environment and college preparedness. Our children have been challenged, grown as people, and formed life-long friendships. The school is sincerely committed to affordability and inclusiveness, which I believe separates it from its peer group - in a positive way. The food is exceptional - even on non-parent weekends. I just wish they would make an effort to be competitive in all sports.

We have had two children go to Groton. It has been a great experience. We love everything about Groton as evidenced by the fact that we will be sending a third child to Groton next year. If I could make a few recommendations, they would be as follows .... try and recruit more quality young teachers that can serve as great mentors to the students. The students need mentors/young adults that they look up to and can model their life after. Secondly - Groton has a very rigorous academic schedule which is a good thing but there is a lot of pressure on the students. I would consider getting rid of Saturday classes to alleviate some of the pressure OR reduce the Saturday schedule further.

Groton School is an educationally and culturally distinguished institution that truly prepares the whole person educationally, artistically, athletically, and spiritually for college and to serve society. The level of attention per child is unsurpassed.
