This is a good truly Christian school. Very good faculty, very friendly students. However, this school does not provide as many educational class options in comparison to other alternatives. But despite that this is a very good school.

Some teachers really care and know what they are teaching about others don't even have teaching degrees. They hire right out of college teachers sometimes that don't know how to effectively lead a classroom. On the other hand I have had some wonderful teachers that make the subject very interesting but still challenging. It really depends on who they hired that year and it's a shame it's not consistently great teachers. A few bad ones throughout the years ruin the overall academics there.

The school is very involved in the students lives to the point where it is concerning. It's sometimes a blessing to have teachers who care and at other times it is overstepping their boundaries. Teachers will play favorites and some students feel excluded at times. You have to join sports or you will be left out constantly. Also academics vary. I attended that school my whole life and graduated community college with a 3.9 GPA but a student from my class at the same college is still taking all remedial classes. It depends on the student at the end of the day. Lastly the facilities aren't anything fancy. Just beware.

I love this school. Have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff. Teacher are kind and cared about my children when they attended the school. Your child will be taught Christian principles with opportunity to live them out.

Both of my children have been going to Hackensack Christian school since pre-school. My oldest is now in 6th and my youngest in 1st grade.
