Overall, Hackettstown Highschool provided me with enough education that prepared me for my first year at college. The best parts were the track and field program that they offered at the school, as well as the music program as well. I would like to see them expand the school because of the amount of students entering in and it becoming overcrowded.

The district is diverse and is experiencing growing pains. Many new residences are being built in town.

I love how the school added activity days before school breaks, but I would rather see those activity days be placed in the middle of weeks in order to reduce stress from schoolwork. Additionally, I find it great that the school added a unit lunch that is 50 minutes long instead of two separate lunches of 30 mins, that way everyone can have lunch with their friends everyday. I wish they added that when I was still at this school rather than put it into effect the year after I graduate though.
