GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The principle, vice principle and their staff of administrators and teacher are very good at involving the students and parents in current and future plans. Open to listen to parents and having forum for updates. Continue to advance safety features proactively. Teachers willing to help students who struggle with classes are willing help them succeed.

The district is diverse and is experiencing growing pains. Many new residences are being built in town.

Moving to the US has been the most significant  challenge of  my life: the language, culture and lifestyle is  new for me. I am thankful to the Hackettstown, New Jersey community that has welcomed me with  love. I have learned to use my weaknesses and turn them into strengths. I have worked hard on my English language skills, and now I can say that I am bilingual, which has been a lifelong aspiration of mine. I hope in the future this skill allows me to obtain good job opportunities and I can use it to help many people. HHS is an amazing place to start in a new country and im happy to be part of the tiger Community.

But, thanks to the Mayor and the money hungry town council, it is now it is overrun by multiple vape shops, teenage spanish gangs (yes, seriously), drug riddled and the school is wholly unsafe. They do nothin...

Some very bad teachers at this school, and even worse staff. They do not care about your child’s learning, avoid this school if you can.
