The school has great academics. Frankly, there needs to be more involved when it comes to the arts and sciences. The school is big on sports as it is a small-town school. Since it is a small town, there is little diversity. The teachers are great educators and resourceful. Unfortunately, the school system has trouble holding teachers' positions or been applied for to the point they have had to pull teachers out of retirement.

The things i liked about Hagerstown Jr. Sr. High School was, it has a variety of clubs, including clubs for athletic students, to non athletic students. The principal greets his students as much as he possibly can.

I have enjoyed my overall experience at Hagerstown Junior/Senior High School. I feel most of the teachers make you stay involved in what your learning and try to help you in any way. I feel the staff is focused on their students and try to help in any way they can. Diversity here isn't huge but whenever diversity plays a role no one is treated differently from anyone else. I like how the teachers show respect for the teachers and the teachers give it back in return for the most part. Other schools have a huge issue with that. Overall I like Hagerstown Junior/Senior Highschool.

I found that this school prepared me well for college, and beyond. The staff was caring, the academics challenging, and the amount of extra curricular activities was great considering the size of the school.

My daughter was not feeling well, but I encouraged her to go onto school. Once at school, she got sick and went to the nurse. Since she wasn't running a fever, they refused to let her go home. She waited for about an hr. then went into the bathroom and texted me telling me how sick she was. I called...
