BISFA is definitely a very accelerated high school experience. It is hard work, but the staff are always willing to help if you're struggling. The arts program is definitely a very unique opportunity. The school will definitely keep you busy, but the results are worth it.

I love coming to school for the arts, it's my favorite part about the school. I'm in the instrumental department, I play the flute and saxophone. Just this year, I picked up the saxophone and have been thoroughly enjoying the rest of my time at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts.

You will learn a lot in each department at this school whether it be through classes or personal affairs. it will be very stressful at times but there are definitely very fun things that make it with it. My best advice is to not be petty, be nice to everyone even if you don't like someone. Everyone is going through something, don't make it worse for each other. Also worry about your GPA asap, even if you don't know if you want to go to college. better safe than sorry.

If I could survive in a regular school I'd drop out in an instant. I'm punished for talking to my girlfriend, who also goes here. I can't be myself and the admin makes sure of that. They function in a dictatorship and do not care about your happiness as a student. As long as you look good on paper,...
