My experience with south high is pretty good. It is a fun school and overall a good environment. They have lots of AP/Dual Enrollment opportunities for students who want a head start.

Overall, the school itself is pretty good, the main issue is with the students. The hallways during class change tend to be crowded, and students fight a lot. But staff members always end them before any serious damage is caused.

Overall I love attending south, I truly think it's the best school in the county. We are the most populated high-school as-well as most diverse, so the people coming in and out of the school are interesting people to meet. I have had no problems at south and want to continue that for my final year.

The environment is very unfriendly and a difficult space for student who want to excel academically. The administration does very little to limit the amount of bad students roaming the halls and disrupting classrooms. The teachers are very nice and do their best with what they can.

I have two kids at this school. One is graduating this year with high honors and high SAT and has been accepted to Penn State premed. She was in their robotics program that teaches them good discipline. The other child is in the 10 th grade and doing very well. He is in track and involved.

My son describes this school as being, "ghetto". He hasn't been there very long and has already been told by one of his teachers that he felt sorry for him for having transferred to this school. We were moved to this area site unseen, and not by choice. Seeing the riffraff that surrounds the campus,...
