The best things about hms are that the teachers and staff are constantly working towards improving the schools reputation as a whole, and I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking for a great middle school experience. The only downside of this school is the immense amount of favoritism that goes on behind the scenes, but even though it makes you work hard, that hard work will eventually pay off in the end.

The asst principal gave my son ISS for defending himself. He was not the instigator. This kid has done this atleast twice before! Where are the adults? Honestly I have had my good times and bad times with Hahira Middle. Almost half of the seventh grade got sent to alternative school or YDC. There are students that do drugs and smoke cigarettes. The academics are good but if the student body as a whole is just preposterous.
