We have very good safety measures to keep the children safe at the school. Security cameras equipped with sound, locked doors, fire and other drills and much more. The faculty does a really good job at being their for the kids and making sure it is a safe environment for all.

We have a very good food system at the school. We have a healthy snack right after school that is free to all who participate in extra curricular activities or study halls. The lunch food is very diverse with many options and most items are healthy, making it an ideal lunch program. We also have a reduced price lunch for those who cannot afford the cost.

Really the only issue I have with my school is the size, as there's not very many people, but that's not the school fault. Also, there's not very many good electives, but again that's because of the size of the school. Overall I think Haines High School is really good school, as the people are pretty open and friendly and the faculty and school atmosphere is great. It's a place that emphasizes independence, and it's easy to succeed as long as you try to.
