My oldest is now in her second year at the middle school and extremely successful! A LARGE part of that is because of all the hard work and compassion of the teachers, staff and administrators at HCE!!!! She started out with a LOT of troubles.She is ADHD.No learning troubles(in fact academically gifted and always tests in the mid to high 90%'s) but would end up having outburst when getting frustrated because the world moved too slow for her.The teachers worked tirelessly to find the best ways to help her cope and keep her IN the classroom.I was Always communicated with promptly, and kindly.And Never in my life seen such an engaged and caring administrator!The teachers communicated with each other each year as she moved up, and each year got better and better!

Not happy with this school. I’ve never had an issue with my kids other schools, but the repeated poor communication from my child’s teacher is frustrating and prompting me to leave this review.

I am a very veteran teacher in a neighboring district. I very much regret sending my own children to this school. I had to get advocates to join me for meetings in order to get special education support for my children that needed it and clearly met special education criteria. It was so bad that I a...
