The last four years at Hamden high was what I made it and if I can do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. I played basketball all four years and made some great bonds with some great people. I learned a lot from teachers I didn't get along with at first but came around to my senses and seen that their best interest was to help me grow as a person and prepare me for my next steps in life. I feel like Hamden high was an outlet and a door opener at the same time; it gave me my lifelong friends and knowledge at the same time.

The best experience I had was my art classes I loved my ceramics class I got to make stuff that I wanted and also learned new things and how to attach things and smooth them out. My photography class was also one of my favorites I learned how to work a camera and I made some cool photos I even won an award for one of my pictures. And now I'm in art and I'm learning to draw and I am learning how to shade and draw by grid

What is the point of going to this school even there is more high school near Hamden? Some teachers act like they are children. Also, they are doing a "say something" campaign but never works they just doing it for performance. I don't feel safe in school.

Hamden High provides not only a great education to all but also to those kids who are looking for something extra, be it sports, band or orchestra, drama, etc. Many dedicated teachers and staff too! Our three kids attended and all were well prepared for college and beyond.

Hamden High is wonderful. We could not ask for a better high school for our children. If you want academics, HH has them. Great clubs? Check. Sports? check. Want your child to learn to understand people who are different from him or herself? Check. Hamden High is a very special place. If you're luck...

We have had a wonderful experience at Hamden High- it's truly a hidden gem. Our son transitioned from a very small, private school to this high school, and he has been so happy here. The academics are terrific, at least in the high level classes. The teachers have been engaging, supportive and accom...
