GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I went to Topsail High School all four years and graduated from there and I loved the school. I made so many memories that I will never forget and will always cherish. The food and teachers are decent. The staff are helpful.

I have flourished at Topsail High School. The teachers and administration truly spurred me on and it worked. My test scores have provided me a large avenue in order to navigate my future.

Before Covid, Topsail was a great school and I felt like I was pushed to study but after Covid the teachers stopped caring and some became lazy which made me feel lazy. I just wish that most of the teachers would still push their students more so that we are prepared for college or anything in our future. Through my whole senior year, I had only one teacher that pushed me and gave me some invite on how college would be.

I have had two sons attend this school. One was accepted by an Ivy league university, then got an MD. The other accepted by a Big Ten university and went on for his JD. The teachers and students were outstanding. Every place has detractors and people who would not do well anywhere. This school gave...

Here's the run down, I've attended this school for 3 years and I'm going into junior year. I've made great friends but this may not be the situation for everyone. Some kids are singled out. The classes are lacking in many areas, while they do offer some great extracurricular, the core classes are be...

This school is way over rated here on Great schools especially with Pender County passing a new bond for more elementary and middle schools. The past super Dr.H has a professional study done and the school is already overcrowded, the teachers do not get paid well and by 2030-31 the school will have...
