GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I am a junior at Hamshire Fannett High School and I love it. I am apart of the National Honor Society as Secretary and participate on the varsity volleyball team. We have a strong program with smart students all throughout the grade levels. One thing I would change about the school is the fundraisers we do. We do fundraisers but not enough to benefit our school since we are in the middle of nowhere and don't have that much money to get the needs, we need and we are called "the poor school" because of that but we still make it manageable, and keep it in a safe environment for the students and faculty.

One of the best things a out Hamshire Fannett is that they dont just let you skate by, they make sure your doing your very best and help you along the way. I've had some of the best teachers while I attended, and helped me grow, not just as a student, but as a person. Theres not much I would say is bad about HF, but one of the things I should mention would be the fountain water. They dont keep up with the filters. I've seen a girl go to use one onetime and green sludge came out. So I would recommend bringing your own water bottles.

Hamshire Fannett is a good high school, even though we have struggled through two hurricanes and at the moment construction it still tries to do good. I don't agree with everything we do, but you have to admit no matter the situation we still push through and try to be better.

Our scores do not reflect that student spent 2 years + homeschooled due to hurricanes/floods/COVID. That was classes of 2020-2024. Class 2025 elementary burned down so they were out of school then in portable buildings. HF has had some very hard breaks. But we keep thriving and we keep winning. Stud...

I was in every extracurricular you can name and was at the top of my class. The environment is fun, but the teachers are terrible and do not prepare you for college. They don't pay their teachers enough so we're left with recent college grads as teachers without any experience that stay for a few ye...

HF is a good all around school district. As with all school districts though there are always the cases of bullying, and the “In” crowd being chosen for sports and such first without regard to who was a better candidate.

This school is a NIGHTMARE!! If they would only get rid of the upper echelon; superintendent, head principal, they finally, got rid of the AD with his bully tyrant sidekick, then this could be a great school. These people have created a very hostile school environment! This school has no regards to...
