GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Excited about the changes that are coming to the district. Every new superintendent brings their own vision, and as a new one just took the reins, I will eager to see how that molds the students attending here.

My time at Harbor Beach High School has been great! Each year, this school works to improve and help all of its students reach their full potential!

It is run very smoothly, but has a few teachers that could use improvements. It is very safe and spirited, but can be unwelcoming to some because it is so small. The college readiness is great, but can be seen as overwhelming and unbeneficial to those who know they are entering the work force after graduation rather than going to college. Everyone is very involved in everything because we are so small.

New Superintendent much more ethical than prevvious one, but still in a very economically depressed town with low education parents, many/most of whom do not demand much of school district.

Great school with FANTASTIC teachers and administration, preparing us for the future. I wouldn't want to get my education anywhere else.
