Overall, I had a good experience attending Harker Heights High School. There are many resources and extracurricular activities for students. The worst part of my experience was the lack of support from some teachers and staff. Although there are excellent teachers and staff to help students, several teachers only give the bare minimum for some students. I hope this changes in the future.

I graduated from Harker Heights High School in 2023 and I loved this school. I thought the school was really diverse, I felt safe there, the teachers and admin were helpful, etc.

Harker Heights is a school of many resources and opportunities like sports and various other clubs and organizations. The school is diverse with different races and people of different backgrounds and needs, however the culture is not up to par. The culture can be discriminatory at times.

So grateful my child is now attending CHS. Had horrible experiences at this place. Also grateful Business teacher did not follow over to CHS. She is the laziest teacher I have ever heard of. Doesn't do any teaching!

KISD is a Joke you are better off trying Belton or Copperas Cove. There is so much favoritism in KISD that your child just gets screwed over if you aren't faculty. There is nothing you can do and no one to complain to since your child would get punished. Go to another District and stay away from Har...

My child was a transfer student from Missouri. Totally different experience. Never once did I get a chance to meet the teachers. Missouri had student lead parent confernces at least 3 times a year. I figured it would be the same here and we would get to make one second semester but nothing. My stude...

Are you kidding me...we've been very successful here! In high school don't kid yourself...if your kids are studying they're doing fine. This school does not seem to have a lot of drama which is nice.
