My elementary school experience was ok but as a student with dyslexia middle school and high school was a nightmare. The support for students with special needs is almost non existent because there is one special education teacher for grades 8 to 12. There are funding problems and administration problems. The lack of support for students with special needs must be addressed. Change in this area is essential for special needs students to succeed.

The school isn't up to the expectations. They care about uniform more then your academics, they throw opportunities at you but require you to pay. We barely have field trips, and we have lack of resources and funding.

I like the unity of Capital Prep. Going there feels like being a part of one big family. Even with that being said, Capital Prep needs to improve on the organization aspect of being a school.

This school is a disgrace. My kids went when Steve Perry had just opened it. After he left, the place started falling apart. I pulled my kids in their junior year. I have heard it is even worse now. Research before enrolling your kids here.

My two daughters (grades 5 & 8) are in their second year. We chose Capital Prep over our suburban school and have been very happy. The girls love their school. We are thrilled with the high expectations (and don't mind the strict rules, including uniform adherence, which is made very clear to all pa...

The intentions of this schools seem positive but its not. It is important to have a staff that understands curriculum. It does not seem to be the case in this school. The atmosphere is somewhat hostile, I do believe that every child should be entitled to an atmosphere that focuses on discipline and...

I regret that I did not do more research on this school prior to sending my child here. The Board Of Education allows mayhem to take place even after presenting solid evidence of the horrific things that go on there. The Senior class is whittled down to a handful of students to give the appearance o...
