Very good school all around. I have had some amazing teachers and the students I share my classes with are just as phenomenal.

Hartselle High School is phenomenal. From the top to the bottom, everyone cares and puts students first. I've never seen a principal who cares about his students like they have. The teachers show up and support kids outside of school. Even the custodians keep the place immaculate. My child is ready for college and life more than her peers from other schools.

HHS offers career readiness programs, such as welding, electrical, plumbing, etc, as well as career academies to prepare for college. Academics are so important, and teachers and counselors are readily available to assist students and parents with questions or concerns. They actively help students p...

Unbelievably political and clique-y. If you aren't involved in the politics, then your kid will suffer. Bullying goes on and the administration does nothing. The privileged kids get special treatment. The athletes get special treatment. All Hartselle cares about is how much money your family have or...

The school is all about AP classes. The principal only cares about those kids and the scores on the AP test. No discipline at the school also and the dress code is a joke. So sad for such a great city to have leadership like that.

As a parent of children that attend Hartselle City Schools and two at Hartselle High School I think that the system has definitely got some room to improve. I would agree that unless you are good at sports and you know the right people it doesn't matter how smart or talented you are in academics or...
