I like this school for it's amazing course catalog and flexibility when it comes to wanting to learn. It's also very easy to start clubs and initiates like these are always encouraged. The lack of grade transparency is an issue for some though, and for picky eater this might not be the perfect place.

The governor's school was one of the best decisions of my life, living on campus and getting a head start on my independence was a dream. I was able to meet so many like-minded people and take classes to further my education. I am grateful for the opportunity.

Great school overall, especially in the steam classes that it is named after. School is first and foremost intended to prepare students for college life in both it's classes and extra curriculars. My only wish is that sports and humanities were a little more competitive.

GSSM is one of the worst schools I have been, do not go here. The teachers are rude with very demeaning looks and word usage. They do not like engaging with my family at all, if you are having trouble learning at this school you get harassed by the teachers which is very demotivating. If any of you...

GSSM has been a living nightmare, stay away from going here. It will tank your GPA. Also they have amazing marketing which oversells the school and makes it seem so much better than it is.
