GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I believe the school experience was what you made it. If you wanted to be just school involved you could. On the other hand if you wanted to be involved in clubs and sports you could stay busy.

I have had little issues with my school, the teachers are great and the staff are very friendly. Some of the best teachers I've ever had.

HHS is an OK school but the grading scale is low...Teachers are OK and activities are good. Some of the issues include favoritism by certain teachers and coaches. The school also does not have a lot of safety measures in place. There is a lot of drug activity in the restrooms and no one seems to want to address it. My experience was pretty good because I stayed away from individuals involved in drugs and alcohol but it would be nice to see the school reach out to support those folks.

Not a good school if you are not popular, if you are a race other than white, & if you need a little extra help with learning.

Hastings High School is the greatest school for tradition at sporting events, the student body is lead by Taco and he does a great job at leading.
