GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My own experience at my school is different from other students. Since my high school is mostly focused on sports and science, it is less about the arts. I am an arts student, I want to study the arts in college and most of my interest are arts related like theater. Luckily we were able to get some improvements to our auditorium but it wasn't what we wanted or needed like a new cyc or a new sound and lighting equipment. Our arts wing is where I am able to fully be myself which I love. The staff, the people, the students, everything. They are my loves however the way the school deals with the arts is to ignore it until it becomes a problem for everyone. I don't like that, I want the problems to be fixed the first time we announce it to the administration not until someone else has the problem. That is what I could like to see changed.

i think it was alright, academics could've been a lot better but it was a fun environment, the students are nice, and the teachers are nice for the most part.

It's an interesting place with diverse people and mostly good teachers. There's never a boring day that is for sure.

A diverse student population prepares the students well for the real world. The students learn how to interact with people of all backgrounds leading to a more well rounded individual.

I am unhappy with the way the school seems to be more concerned with test scores with the state then the children learning stuff they will need to know in the real world. They need to get their priorities straight.

Some of he teachers do a wonderful job trying to communicate with parents; others prefer to not. The administration will only fulfill their obligations when "under the microscope" by outside auditors, especially when it comes to parent notifications and reports.
