I have really enjoyed my time at HHS. the school offers a lot for those who are actively seeking it out. If you do not enter the school as a "honors" student, and do not have the best guidance counselor, you will likely will not move up in class level without self motivation and advocation. Though this is an important skill, it can lead a lot of student to perform below their level. This shuts them out from the truly great educators we have at our school, because they really have such a huge impact on your experience.

My overall experience in Haverhill high was definitely what shaped me into the person I am today, I had many ups and downs academic wise but I always find a way to better my grades, regardless if it means staying after school or making up missing work at home. I've also grown out of my shell a lot since freshman year, I met many new people and made many friends along the way, some even became considered family.

My overall experience with Haverhill High school is a good one. The best part of my experience at the high school would be the people. I meet many great people and friends while being a student. The worst part about the school and the thing I would change the most is the fights that break out almost every month and the bathrooms are closed most of the time.

A diverse student population prepares the students well for the real world. The students learn how to interact with people of all backgrounds leading to a more well rounded individual.

Some of he teachers do a wonderful job trying to communicate with parents; others prefer to not. The administration will only fulfill their obligations when "under the microscope" by outside auditors, especially when it comes to parent notifications and reports.

I am unhappy with the way the school seems to be more concerned with test scores with the state then the children learning stuff they will need to know in the real world. They need to get their priorities straight.
