2011 - teacher caught taping special needs student to a desk to "control him". Teachers don't care to keep up with "what's next"

I was absolutely disappointed with Hayesville Middle School. I went there for 5th and 6th grade and there was no challenge. The "advanced" classes are a JOKE! They are no different from the regular classes except you're like a week or two ahead of them. They have hardly any extracurricular activitie...

This school is so wrapped up in scoring high on state exams that it sucks the life out of its students. I have heard of students encourage to actually drop out of both the middle school and high school because of their test scores. That was until they got in trouble for a high drop out rate. They ha...
