I love North Wilkes High School. The teachers here all have ranging personalities that make it feel like a home. Our students come together at varying sporting events to support our athletes. North Wilkes High is one big family.

Throughout my 4 years of attending North Wilkes High School I made a lot memories. I built strong and trustworthy friendships. Most of the memories coming from the sports I played. I played 3 years of soccer and 2 years of football. Having a new soccer coach my junior year really changed the players. Everybody seemed so hungry to win although we were looked at like the worst teams in the conference by many teams. Our senior season we were able to tie our best record of all time which was 13 wins and 7 losses. We were 5 spots from making the playoffs. Having this great season helped me get signed by a d2 college which is Mars Hill University. This was a huge accomplishment since it was one of my goals to do that. Playing football as a kicker was also full of memories. Making the playoffs because of a winning kick from me and being named kicker of the year was very memorable. Things I would love to see change would the behavior and leadership of certain players.

Really great School in a very nice location. The Teachers and Staff are very nice and helpful with anything you need.

This school has refused to listen to student concerns for several years now, and will intentionally leave their doors open even during life threatening weather. I do not recommend this school.

The school is very modern and clean with friendly seasoned teachers that care about their students. They have several advanced placement classes and tons of honor class opportunities. Students have an almost unlimited availability of dual enrollment classes available to them as well. The school has...

I attended this school for 4 years and can definitely vouch for the fact that there is little to no chance for students to excel. There are not enough AP courses, it is very hard to make an all honors schedule work and students are not generally encouraged to take honors classes. Freshmen are not to...
