I think Hazleton Area Highschool is pretty good. The main highschool has quite a lot of kids. While that is not personally something I enjoy, others like the social aspect of it. I like that students are given the option to apply for branches of the high school relating to STEM and the arts.

Being in Hazleton has introduced me to so many different people and cultures. I've made so many friends. However I've always felt that the school funded the sports more than anything, and it really showed. Most staff members are cold towards the student body, treating us like delinquents no matter the student. The classes barely helped anyone retain anything, and fights are a regular occurrence.

I've been here for almost 2 year and that's more than enough to say this is one of the best schools i've been in.

HAHS is THE WORST school I have EVER had to deal with. We moved around alot, my daughter had gone to 13 schools (with a 3.8gpa) prior to arriving at HAHS in her senior year.
