Good for what it's given funding and reputation-wise. Definitely not a school that really pushes students toward real academic readiness and success, but that can be said about the whole schooling system. Does have its fair share of problems with student on student violence and administration when solving said issues.

It is a pretty average school that does not stand out apart from being the biggest high school in the district.

I love being a STEM school students and the many opportunities to prepare for college through AP classes, early admission college classes, and credited classes. I do not feel there are enough opportunities for STEM students to be active at the high school.

HAHS is THE WORST school I have EVER had to deal with. We moved around alot, my daughter had gone to 13 schools (with a 3.8gpa) prior to arriving at HAHS in her senior year. Her previous school offered drivers education, HAHS does not. Because of this, she was 2 credits shy of graduating on time. Af...
