My son has been at Headland High School for 4 years. I don't think they do enough to prepare the students for college. I think the classes should start to prepare the students for college, rather than plan to attend or not. I think the football program, and basketball program should get the same attention as the baseball program. I really have not had a bad experience with the school. The change I would like to see is more college readiness for the students, and better recruitment.

I've been attending Headland schools since the 7th grade. Now I'm 11th grade. I'd have to say that the education here is better than Dothan City Schools ( which I attended 4-7 grade ) but I do wish they offered better technology for teachers. Us students have Chromebooks and tablets but I noticed the teachers have outdated computers and white boards. I wish the teachers could have the electric boards in their classrooms so their jobs could be easier and their wrists can take a break.

HHS is a small, safe school. Everyone knows everyone else and there is a great support system for all students. There is an excellent administrative staff.
