My experience at Tahquitz high-school has be phenomenal, I have made lots of friends and had opportunities to many different clubs like : Jc fan club, FCA, Key club and CTE programs such as Ditigal media which expanded my knowledge about filmmaking and how to operate a camera, in academic institutions I have had opportunities to take college courses at MSJC. Overall Tahquitz is a great highschool.

Most of the issues comes from the lack of authority that is needed with the staff and teachers. Encouragement to do better in classes is something that needs to be improved on.

I love my highschool but since we're in a poor area we have some safety problems that I want to change. We have something in place to help with safety but I kinda feel like it's not enough. Other than that I love this school it tries to give us the best chance possible. Everyone who works there are so nice and gives every student so many way to pass, learn, and understand what there learning.

This school strongly discourage parent involvement. And, when you do contact teachers or administrators, or question actions or methods, they will discriminate against your student and harass your student. The math department is awful. 80% of the grade is based on tests and they have their own workb...

All schools can improve and so can Tahquitz but I will highlight some of the things they are doing right. They provide a lot of technology to use, if you ask for help they have tutors and even online tutors available 24hrs a day. A chromebook is provided for each student. I have known the staff to b...
