Hempstead High School's coaching staff are phenomenal. Those coaches go above and beyond to assist every student not only in Athletics but also in academics. Most are role models to each student at our school. My experience with Hempstead High School was our coaches encouraged me, assisted me on guidance, taught me to be patient to overcome the impossible when I was at my most vulnerable stage.

I only likwd a handful of teachers. AP classes weren't hard because we did the same thing as regular classes but we just took the AP test at the end of the year. Many of the teachers don't care about the students, just their paycheck. Grades are never in the gradebook on time. The food served for lunch is bland it it is very small portions.

At this school, some of the teachers do not want to teach the students, and when the students ask questions, they are made to feel like they are stupid.

Since its a small town everyone knows each other, some of these staff members favorite students because they kniw their mom or are related to them in whatever way. Sent my kid here for a few weeks, transf...

This school is overly controlling and unsafe. Students aren’t allowed snacks, sweet drinks, or phones, yet teachers are allowed to be on their phones during class. Students also can’t join clubs unless they complete 30 hours of IXL, which limits opportunities instead of helping students.Safety and c...

The new principal is not an asset to the school.
