GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think that this school does a great job at holding its students to a higher academic standard. My experience here has been extremely positive but in my last year a staff change was inconvenient, but adjustments were made.

I really enjoyed my time at Early College. I enjoy being able to take college classes and be ahead when I graduate. The only part I really did not like was the High School side. The administration is super nice but seems unorganized at times. The actual teachers in the High School are not very good and do not teach all that well. The only good teachers the program did have left during my time there.

Vance County Early College provides great opportunities. Although you do not get the "normal" high school feel you can still play sports for your school district, while getting a free associates degree. I highly recommend it.

THE MAJORITY OF PARENTS have paid for last minute college classes, in order for their child to finish the program. O...
