The best part of my experience was getting to participate in all of the extracurricular activities offered, from pep band to soccer to performance opportunities, they all left an impact on me. The worst part of my experience was the cafeteria food offered, which was not very good.

My experience with Hermantown high school is definitely similar to others. The teachers can be hit or miss, there are plenty of great teachers and know how to interact with students in a friendly way and there are other that aren't so welcoming. The sports culture is pretty good except for the hockey team. Lots of drama and little cliques that need to be put to rest. Safety was pretty good and never had to worry about feeling unsafe. Bullying was pretty apparent and reoccurring though.

Hermantown High School has been an exceptional school for me for the last 4 years. There has been little to no drama, and everyone gets along pretty well or they just stick with their friend groups. Most teachers are helpful and quick to respond when you need help resolving any issues with homework or grades.

Staff and administrators only support hockey players. Academics come secondary to sports (specifically hockey). Staff and administrators turn a blind eye to bullying.
