My experience at Herndon High School has been good for the most part. I feel like I've gotten connected with everyone at school and there isn't violence occurring. The teachers are nice and help you out when you need it and they also stay after-school. I feel like the academics here are really good and they offer a wide variety of AP level classes. I'd say that the tardy sweeps need to change because I feel like having them frequently is a little too much because then you have students coming in later and disrupting the lesson.

Herndon high school is a great example of a school that truly cares for their students. They constantly reach out through emails and make students known of opportunities that are up and coming. The sports department has grown very diverse over the years and our teams have improved. One of my favorite departments is the musical arts. The pride of Herndon has earned many titles and the students within the program thrive with the environment they've been able to build with the correct funding and encouragement from the school.

I would like to think that my overall experience was good and that the resources provided helped me prepare for college. Although I missed out on a year of in person learning, my school did the best that they could to provide everyone with a form of education during difficult times.

My two boys have had a truly wonderful experience at Herndon High. They’ve taken mostly Honors and AP courses, and what has stood out most is how invested their teachers have been in their success. The coursework is rigorous, and there have definitely been moments where they’ve needed extra support—...

My experience at this school was sub-mediocre. The teachers are disrespectful of students and over-disciplinary. When i attended Herndon high school, i was subjected to the most stress and pressure i ever have been due to the toxic environment. I would never choose to send my future children to this...

current student, hate it. some good teachers but most either don’t know what they’re talking about or barely care about their students. most teachers play obvious favorites. admin parades around saying school is a zero tolerance zone for bullying but turns a blind eye when people actually get bullie...
