Hewitt Trussville High School allows for a wide range of resources. They provide lots of AP courses and things to help prepare you for your college experience. They provide opportunities to get involved and help your community while also having fun. The teachers and staff care about your well-being and wish to see you succeed.

Hewitt does a good job about caring about academics, but less so the individual. Sure some teachers are fantastic people and teachers, but others can't be bothered to care about the individual. Scandals and administration turnovers were the most hectic part of my career at Hewitt so far, but I enjoy high school, more so than my contemporaries at other schools, at least those I talk to.

HTHS is an amazing school that has provided my daughter so many opportunities academically and athletically. They have prepared her for AP tests, the ACT and college. I would highly recommend the school and community!

I've been to a couple different schools before this one. And, I have to say this school has been the best so far. Bullying is to a minimum, I never have seen mistreating of others here. I made great friends with a lot of people here. Most of the teachers are wonderful here, they're good at their job...
