GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Small school allows for more connections to staff. For athletics, there is a new gym that is very nice but no soccer team. The arts are not well funded and often overlooked.

So far it has been good. I love my teachers and it's a high quality education. We have multiple dual credit and AP classes. We have many school clubs such as Key club, band, FFA, student council, and Spanish club. We are a small school, so we don't have any students but our students are very involved.

Heyworth is a very good small school with a lot of dual credit classes and flexibility that will allow you to take most of the courses you are interested in.

School would never stop an bullying or social outcasting. Promoted students to pick on eachother by not punishing those who started it all. Plus allowed students to bring razor blades into school to torment another student

Yes, it's in a tiny town, but the technology avail...
