Valley View High School was an okay school to attend. The most prominent value I got from this school was their Associates Degree program with South Texas College, although signing up for college classes was a bit difficult as I had to go out of my way to go and put pressure on admins. The environment was a bit violent sometimes, but fights died down. Staff was okay, some ruder than others but there was some who would genuinely provide help to as much students as they could.

I have always been a student at Valley View ISD in Pharr, Texas and love that is a tight school community where all parents, teachers and students live and work closely so we are like a big family that we help each other succeed.

There is definatley favoritism here. I had no idea how I was going to make it in college. If it weren't for friends from other schools to help me, I would have never gotten my undergraduate degree. I am currently working on my Masters at the University of Texas at San Antonio no thanks to counselors...
