Not that bad comparing to other schools in the area. Good sports, solid academics, very safe. Incredible engineering and shop classes and great opportunities with arts. Culture sucks and a lot of teachers just don't try but there are just as many who love what they do. Administration sucks and is no help ever, and the guidance department. But I feel very ready for college and they make sure to also give us Trade schools and military as options and educate us well.

1. Overall Experience: My time at Haddam-Killingworth High School was quite positive. The teachers were dedicated and supportive, and I felt like I had access to a lot of resources to help me succeed. 2. Experience: I appreciated the sense of community and the opportunities for involvement in various clubs and sports. It was great to be part of such a close-knit environment. 3. Best and Worst Parts: The best part was definitely the relationships I built with my peers and teachers. However, I found that sometimes the workload could be overwhelming, especially during exam periods. 4. Changes: I would love to see more mental health resources and support for students, as well as more flexible options for coursework to.

I had a pretty good experience. Most of the teachers are really nice, but a handful of them are not great teachers. I felt semi-ready for college, but not really in the college level work way. They have many sports to offer from baseball and football to even golf. The extracurriculars are more than most public schools have, and it's nice to have options. They offer a lot of UCONN level courses as well which is nice. The building is old, and the food isn't great, but for the most part I'll miss my time there and I'll the memories I had there. It wasn't perfect, but what school is?

I strongly believe this is an above average school. Of course, like any high school, it has its issues but overall the teachers want to support you and the administration is there to help you. You will succeed at this school and beyond if you put in the effort. AP and honors classes are rigorous and...

My daughter received a high quality education at H-K high. She was enrolled in honors and AP classes, so I'm not familiar with the quality of the lower level classes or how well the school supports kids with learning differences. However when my daughter experienced a long term illness the teachers...

HK is and was an excellent school with more programs available than any other school in the area. Want to learn metalworking, electrical or woodworking...no problem. Want to be an engineer, chemist or scientist...just check out their science labs. You will be hard pressed to find a better facility a...
