My daughter started this year in 6th grade. This school is a bit different than other school my children have attended in the past years. They don't have grade parents, this I don't agree with. As far as the teachers, the ones I've met are good. Fieldtrips are nonexistent. And the one we did go on this year was a cost of 24.00 per student for a bus ride to and from. And the place we attended was free to enter. Im always volunteering at school. Over all I like the school, the teachers need a dress code for sure. The receptionist area needs to be cleaned every once in a while. And the office works are nice however can be very rude to children asking simple questions in front of parents. The school can do 100% better. Charter school are alot better than public schools, so we will be here for awhile.

The overall environment is not bad, but the administration is terrible and do not care about the children or the teachers. I am challenged in certain classes but others not. My best experience was getting to grow closer to some of my teachers and bonding with them.

There are some positive things about this school, but they are very outweighed by the negative things.Policies are confusing, administration can be difficult to deal with. The general sense is that new buildings and money coming in is more important than individual students' needs, like having right...

Administration is the problem, far more concerned about overall enrollment to get more money for their charter than for the individual student. The principal is horrible and has the worst interpersonal skills when dealing with parents

They don't do anything if your child is discriminated against. They is not fair and equal treatment. They have kids bringing or threatening to bring guns to school and want to keep quite about it. Do not send your child here.

My son attended Phoenix Academy for 4 years, but this school year has been the most difficult — especially for my kindergartener, who did not attend Pre-K.From the start, communication with the school has been poor. It took over a month just to schedule a meeting about my child’s academic progress....
