I believe that the parents awareness of how their child may be doing in school is really good. But I do think that when it comes to some teachers they may not be teaching the field that they had studied for, which can be concerning sometimes for the student like me. It's an overall great school to go to and get your education from.

As a fellow student at Highland prep west, I would say I am happy to be a hornet. To be a hornet is not just to say you atten that schoo;, but it is a commitment. Being a hornet is being part of a family. A family that supports one another. Which is exactly the experience you will recieve at HPW. As well as a good education to go with. You will be pushed to be the best you can be because everyone here knows you can be. Besides the education you recieve there are amazing clubs. For examples I participate in drama, speech and debate, and cheer. I could not be happier. I can guarantee that if you atten HPW you will not regret it. Also who would not want to go to a high school with 100% graduation rate.

HPW is a college preparatory school that focuses on STEM and Engineering learning and lends both Honors and AP classes challenging students into critical thinking. This amazing school also has a variety of teachers who are willing to help throughout this journey no problem. The best part about HPW is the applauding learning environment and how important GPA is and how much it can help to easily get a free-ride to college with no problem. This school is the perfect choice for college preparation and I'm glad I joined this aspiring school that pushes kids to work hard.
