GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall this is a great school, I would like to see the school to get rebuilt though.

I loved my experience at HHIHS. I transitioned from private to public school after middle school and it was a great decision.

I came to Hilton Head Island High School from a Californian middle school in San Diego because this school was in my hometown and I wanted to learn at HHIHS. The food here at this high school is average although I rarely eat it. The academics are also average because most students fall behind because of poor behavior. Some school activities can be fun, but again, most students lack spirit and use it as a time to hang out.

Graduated from Hilton Head Island High School in 2014. this school was/still is extremely over-populated. There weren't enough desks in almost every class I took for both my junior and senior year here. The students were fine, and most of the teachers were decent. Easy classes. Uniforms were ridicul...
