The lack of experienced teachers in concerning- some teachers should not even be qualified to sit behind that desk.

We have been at the school for nearly 12 years, and overall our experience has been excellent. The school has been able to adapt to the needs of my two very different children with ease. The sense of community very much extends beyond the campus. The current administration is working to increase the diversity of the local student body, which was the main item of change for which we had hoped.

Hilton Head Preparatory offers a great environment for college readiness. Hilton Head Prep offers good education and learning opportunities to be involved in extracurriculars, etc. However, there is a lack of diversity due to it being predominately white. Otherwise, Hilton Head Prep is a good school and I highly recommend.

This school ruined my life. Moved there in 3rd grade and didn't last until 5th because of bullying. The teachers/staff did nothing about it even when I asked them for help. Prep has been a great educational choice for our two children. As a small school is still is able to offer a lot of choices for all types of students. The School challenges students to excel in every matter. My son is in Kindergarten and He is already reading at the First Grade Level. I am very happy with the quality of education teachers provide and the sense of family towards the child.
