GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my experience at Liberty County has been decent. There are a plethora of opportunities that any student has the chance to take. The best part of the school is actually how small it is. Nobody has to worry about being alone in a big school. The worst part is probably the food as there is little variety. In terms of what I would like to change, it would probably have to be a few rules set in place. Many students but heads with someone of the policies and I feel as if it causes unnecessary tension.

I first started Liberty in 10th grade. I was extremely nervous and anxious about what it'd be like to come back to my home town. When I first started it was harder for me to adjust but I quickly made old and new friends that helped me feel welcome and comfortable. Some of the teachers there are amazing and they really take the time to know their students. Everyone at the school wants to see you succeed and graduate but you really just have to put the work in to maintain grades. Every student and teacher is different so you have to adjust to all of the different personalities. The only thing that I would say is negative is the disciplinary. The administrators aren't always on the same page when it comes to what should and shouldn't be done so it does get confusing for students when one teacher says something and then another teacher disagrees.

This is a decent school but I would like to have a wider range of extracurricular activities to get involved in. It seems that the main focus is on football which isn't broadly appealing.

For the past 2 years, my child has had the BEST suppport system! The communication between the staff, teachers and support team is awesome! The current principal Frazier is an absolute DOLL!! And we love her so much!! If something needs to get done, it’s getting done! If you need to speak with her,...

I went to this school all 4 years of high school along with my 3 sisters. Coming from a military household, this was the greatest school and district I’ve attended. You can not blame a school for your child’s own actions and your horrible parenting. 10/10 would send my future kids here.

As a single parent, I hoped the guidance department and school administrators would help me with my son, when I asked. They did just the opposite, and enabled him to sabotage himself. My son was headed for college with a GPA high enough for the best scholarship opportunities in the state of GA, unti...
