GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, Hoboken High School has been very good to me over the past 6 years. I started off in 7th grade and ever sense then it has been a very eventful journey. I've joined many clubs and classes to where it has changed the person I am today. Creating new bonds with new people everyday it has really showed me the potential that m school has for everyone. The faculty are all very helpful in situations where you feel lost. Just the whole environment itself is really welcoming with everyone with open arms. My time here I've traveled around the world to experience the endeavors worth once in a lifetime. Without Hoboken High School I don't know what I would be today. This experience has brought me to the very bottom but also the very top.

At Hoboken High School I was able to thrive and be successful in various school activities I did. This is because of the support given by the administration and the fellow peers. Being a part of a small school makes you able to build closer bonds with the people around and feel more connected with the school as a whole. The school could improve by providing services that appeals more students or encourage more students to join clubs so that more students can be successful through their high school experience.

Happy at HHS! Some exceptional teachers and guidance counselors, and a principal focused on the right issues makes HHS a truly great school . The mandate of public schools demands they serve all, across the income and performance spectrum. Kids from at-risk homes or with special needs require specia...
