Stevens Cooperative School is an independent day school for students in pre-K through eighth grade with three campuses located in Hoboken. Through a unique spirit of community building among the parents and faculty and an emphasis on social-emotional development, students gain a solid foundation of the world around them. Stevens fosters a progressive environment that stresses the importance of inclusion and cooperation and encourages students to inspire and shape the future through the way they learn.
As a cooperative school, parents and guardians are integral to their child’s education. This model of support and encouragement helps the child feel confident and motivated through their school journey and allows parents and guardians to better understand the teacher’s style and curriculum. Parents' voices are also incorporated into school-wide decision-making and policy updates, resulting in an increased sense of belonging that translates to greater student well-being and academic success.
Before- and after-school care is available for working parents, as well as exciting enrichment and athletics programs, including competitive and intramural sports.

In my time at Stevens Cooperative School between the years of fall 2022 and spring 2025 I had a great educational experience. The teachers really cared about my education and the administrators were active and listened to our wants and opinions. The connections I made at Stevens have also been amazing. Thank you!
