My best experience at Hokes Bluff High School has been being able to play Varsity Soccer almost all 4 years and my worst part has been my math grade last year because math isn't my strongest subject but I still managed to make that grade up.

Good teachers doing the best they can with the limited resources they have. There seems to be a "good ol boy" mentality at this high school. There is a lot of nepotism at Hokes Bluff High School, Middle School and Elementary School.

The best part of my school, in my opinion, is the band. I love the group effort it takes to make everything click in place and work right. I wish the school would tell us the new band director so we can get more of a feel how this year is going to go. I also wish the school would pay more attention to the band and its achievements.

Hokes Bluff is a Great School! Hokes Bluff is a place where you can live a Happy life and be proud of who you are. I was born here and have lived here 35 years. My son will graduate from here in 2020! I LOVE HB!!!

Overall, It is a good school. But, It lacks in certain fields and need improvement in standards with making the School Codes a little more clearer. I'd be nice If more technology was involved around the activities and more tactile methods of learning.

The school is only average at best. They only concentrate on sports and teachers children. They seriously need guidance on how to pick teachers. You don't have to know how to teach just be kin to someone.
